technologies, education, and adoption by new generations of innovators. The Foundation currently focuses on
supporting innovation with leading academic institutions in three core areas:
The Foundation has been a key sponsor of UC Berkeley’s ROAR AI Racing program, which participates in the most-advanced AI Racing league, Indy Autonomous Challenge, with nine other global AI racing teams. Our sponsorship supports Berkeley ROAR Racing to become a top-ranked US AI Racing team, and further helps the Berkeley program to partner with more than 80 high schools in California and around the world to establish a K-12 STEM education program based on the autonomous racing application.
Thanks to our active partnership with traditional motorsports and emerging AI racing competitions, we have a front-row seat to understand a key bottleneck for their adoption, especially in developing countries, that is their high cost of entry and participation.To fulfill our vision to seed the new technologies in AI and robotics to a broader audience globally, the Foundation is currently incubating a new AI Racing series, bringing together proven AI Racing solutions and the most advanced EV chassis to several iconic landmark locations.
The Foundation believes decentralized blockchain and Web3 applications can play an important role to bring new technologies to the world’s population more equitably. Through our partnership with Hitch Salon, the Foundation has organized innovator meetups and social events at locations such as Consensus @ Austin, CES @ Las Vegas, New York, Napa Valley, Milan, and Shanghai.
The Foundation collaborates with well-established educational institutions to promote the establishment of new AI STEM and professional training programs. These programs include new AI education standards, AI learning spaces, modernizing motorsports race tracks to enable AI racing competitions, and publication of new STEM curricula and textbooks.
